The group pursues research in different areas such as Distributed data mining, Multimedia data mining, Privacy Preserving Data mining and Social network analysis. Faculty and students have been working on developing novel data mining algorithms that are applied in a variety of domains including academic, e-commerce, medical, financial , social computing and information security.
